Overview

David was born in the West Country and trained at LAMDA. Since graduating he has worked extensively in theatre and television having most recently played opposite Sir Ian McKellen in Player Kings in the West End, prior to this came Witness For The Prosecution (London County Hall). He has also worked at the RSC and played roles as diverse as Willie Mossop in Hobson's Choice (York Theatre Royal), Buddy Holly in 3 Steps To Heaven (Palace Theatre Watford) and the Chaplain in Brecht's Mother Courage with Josie Lawrence (Southwark Playhouse). Recent TV work includes Call The Midwife (BBC), Code 404 (Sky), The White Queen (BBC) and Arthur and George (ITV). David is a long suffering Cheltenham Town supporter.
