Overview

Poppy is a Midlands girl at heart. She grew up in the Lincolnshire countryside before heading up north to Leeds to study a BA in Performing Arts. She then turned south to London to train at East 15 Acting School, graduating with an MA in Acting in 2026. During her training, she played Nanna Callas in the first UK production of Brecht’s Roundheads and Peakheads, directed by Tim Supple. She’s always had a lot to say and developed a passion for storytelling that gives a voice to those whose experiences are too often overlooked. She co-wrote and performed in Femirates, an original piece exploring the joys and frustrations of womanhood. She’s drawn to gritty British drama, strong female voices and stories that aren’t afraid to explore the messier, more complicated sides of life. With a background in musical theatre, Poppy is also a very keen singer and has a passion for music, enjoying work that allows her to bring both sides of her training together.
