Overview

A London and Bristol based actor of mixed British and Caribbean descent, Josiah trained at the University of the West of England. He made his television debut in Alan Carr’s semi-autobiographical comedy Changing Ends for ITV, and has since gone on to feature in Bad Tidings, the Christmas comedy starring Strictly winner Chris McCausland and Lee Mack, written by Lawrence Rickard, one of the creatives behind the BAFTA-winning Ghosts. Most recently, he appeared in the comedy Stuffed, alongside Guz Khan and the team behind the BAFTA-winning Man Like Mobeen. On stage, Josiah has built a diverse body of work. Making his theatrical debut on his graduation day, he played Max in Alright Bitches!—a camp, Benidorm-esque comedy. Since then, he has performed internationally, including in Pinocchio in Dubai, and as an immersive performer in Secret Cinema’s Dirty Dancing. He has also embraced the world of pantomime, stepping into heels as a dame, making his debut last year as a dame at Farnham Live. However, no stranger to panto, Josiah previously played the villain in Aladdin in Abu Dhabi—an experience he describes as unforgettable. Continuing to develop his craft, Josiah is now working towards creating a one-man play inspired by his time living near Grenfell Tower. With a strong passion for storytelling and performance, he remains committed to growing as an artist and exploring new creative opportunities.
