Overview
Originally from Perth, Jago Field moved to Sydney after high school to study a Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance at The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). A keen surfer and sports enthusiast, Jago has always felt a strong connection to his environment – something that continues to influence both his life and his work as an actor. Raised in a family that encouraged curiosity and critical thinking, he was naturally drawn to acting as a way to explore different lives and perspectives. Through this craft, he hopes to continue shaping his understanding of himself and the world around him. In 2020, Jago collaborated with filmmaker Karla Hart on the short film Wirnitj, a formative experience in his development as a performer. Since then, he’s appeared in the short film Dear Ocean; I Love You and the feature film I Hope This Will Fix Me. He is continuing to build his work—learning as he goes and having a good time doing it.
