Overview
Julian’s career spans many aspects of the world of music and drama. Born in difficult circumstances then adopted by wonderful parents he was brought up in a loving and creatively encouraging environment. Drama school at sixteen years old was followed by schools theatre, children’s television (Two years on “Rainbow”) and then numerous television appearances, The Sweeney, Bergerac, The Bill and BBC dramas such as “Baal” alongside David Bowie. He has been in ten feature films including playing Madonna’s Brother in “Evita.” and Al Capone in “Al’s Lads.” He’s also involved in the world music playing and/or writing with Steeleye Span, Gerry Rafferty, Sheena Easton, Dexy’s, and countless others and has composed music for film and T.V.He played “Pop” in “We Will Rock You” and is Musical Director for many shows, currently the national tour of “Return To The Forbidden Planet.”
