Overview
Nick has been performing since he was 8 years old, first in amateur dramatics and then as a member of the renowned Live Theatre Newcastle where he studied for two years. He studied Musical Theatre at Newcastle College before being accepted into Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. He’s set to graduate from there in 2023 with a BA (Hons) in Acting. During his time at Conti, he’s played an array of interesting characters including Joe Pitt in Angels in America, Max Bennett in The Play That Goes Wrong, Konstantin in The Seagull and Laertes in Hamlet. He’s set to form a theatre company with some drama school friends, with the aim of staging their first production in the back end of this year, and in August he will act in and produce a short film for the National Youth Film Academy. He’s also a keen musician, songwriter and general music nerd – he’s played instruments and sang in multiple productions as well as penning around thirty original songs. He’s passionate about Shakespeare, modern gritty drama and he – of course, given his background – has a personal love of bringing music and theatre together.
