Overview
Lloyd studied at East 15 Acting school and has since gone on to be an actor, writer and performance poet. He has worked both nationally and internationally on stage in a range of roles performing with The National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe, The Birmingham Rep, and Theatre Royal Stratford East amongst many others. He received critical praise for his one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was a winner of the BBC's Norman Beaton Fellowship which led him to become a member of BBC Radio Drama's rep company. He has worked extensively in radio drama with a regular role in the Asian Network soap 'Silver Street' and more recently a recurring role in the BBC's epic WW1 drama, 'Home Front'. His film work includes Doctors and the award-winning web series 'Chuggers'. As a writer, Lloyd has written for the RSC's Tartuffe.
